Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will support the Bank
through developing and implementing a suitable marketing strategy and
initiatives, based on the knowledge and nature of the market that will in turn
translate into desired business growth for the bank.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage business development activities.
- The incumbent will oversee the day-to-day
activities of the Marketing unit including PR, Press and marketing
communications agencies. - Manage marketing suppliers including media
agents. - In charge of brand evaluation and enforcement
internally and externally. - Oversee corporate communications activities.
- In charge of fostering community relations
strategic CSR initiatives. - Responsible for training and sensitization of
staff on products and services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Equity Bank marketing
manager career opportunity should hold a degree in business related field
preferably in Sales and/or Marketing from a recognized university. - Applicants with Marketing-specific
professional certifications will have an added advantage. - A minimum of five years relevant
post-qualification experience in Sales and/or Marketing, preferably in the
financial services sector or commercial environment. - The applicant must exhibit strong leadership
skills - Strong business awareness
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good coordination and negotiation skills.
