Human Resource Executive
Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African
Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan.
- Provide guidance and support for human
resources strategies and activities for the organization as a whole. - Recommend, develop and implement the HR
policies, HR manuals and subsequent revisions thereof as required, in
accordance the organization competencies and values. - Ensure that the organization management
understands, complies and applies the local employment law; provide
guidelines on legal responsibility relating to areas of labour Law,
employee taxation and insurance Laws. Obtain legal advice where necessary. - Recommend and support the delivery of
organization’s talent management, performance management and based pay,
training as well as learning and development of strategies. - Ensure that organization has the right talent
to implement and achieve the organizational business objectives and is able to attract, develop, engage
and retain the very best talent in the sector - Update, maintain and develop the HR
information system and processes (Sage pastel) - Lead on specific HR projects and initiatives
as agreed with the CEO such as the Employee Engagement Survey and personal
development programs - Develop organizational strategies by
identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing
information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic
thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with
organizational objectives. - Prepare a realistic and effective HR budget
in line with organizational needs and financial availability in
collaboration with all units - Coordinate the development and coordination
of the Performance Appraisal Programme, in accordance with organization
policy. - Carry out training of management and staff in
the performance appraisal process and skills - Implement and evaluate training programmes
for staff development in accordance with organization policy and available
budgets. - Keep training records and budget up to date
and report to management - Maintain and coordinate employee motivation
and recognition programmes. - Provide guidance to staff on career
development
- The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree
in Human Resource Management or any related course - At least two to three years’ hands on working
experience as Human Resource Executive - Excellent knowledge in the legal and
regulatory compliance requirements - Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, SAGE
etc. - Strong Organizational and multi-tasking
skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good problem solver and works well under
pressure. - Good team player with strong communication
skills. - Conflict Management and problem solving
skills. - Strong written and oral skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving
abilities - High degree of innovation
- Integrity
- Fluent in English and other local languages
- Age: Between 25 – 33 years
