in six (6) countries namely Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, Tanzania and
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The range of services and products have
grown beyond General Insurance to include Life Assurance, Property Investments,
Fund Management and related Financial Services such as insurance premium
financing, financial advisory and securities brokerage. The Group own UAP
Insurance (U) Limited, the leading insurance company in Uganda.
Summary: The Agency Services Manager will
primarily take charge of the recruitment, selection, training & retention
of the Agency Sales force as well as managing the agency retention, incentive
& benefit schemes
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate the performance of the Sales Agency force
on a weekly basis
The incumbent will initiate Agency force recruitment
campaigns countrywide
Develop performance standards and processes for
the Agency team and ensure compliance with the set standards
Develop personal self-development guidelines for
Unit Managers & Agents in accordance with the approved business plans.
Develop reward based incentives and motivational
campaigns for the Agency force
Develop competitive retention & benefit
schemes
Establish relevant training programs for the
Agency force
Ensure strict compliance by the entire Agency force
in respect of Licensing as required by the Insurance regulation.
Prepare and submit weekly feedback reports to
Management on the approved KPI’s
In charge of record keeping of all information
pertaining the Agency force.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a good
university degree with an additional Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
A minimum of three years working experience in
managing a Sales Team with a proven track record in performance.
