Company Limited presently provides coffee to some of the top foodservice
establishments in North America including upscale dining, hotel, In-room,
restaurant chains, catering halls and convenience stores.
Accomplish Company goals by accepting ownership for

Develop accurate and aggressive long and short-term
financial objectives consistent with the Company’s mission.
Maintain product and service quality standards by
conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints. Initiates
corrective action.
Create an operating business environment that
assures consistent guest satisfaction.
Actively monitor the performance of the company
through verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems and financial
reports. Initiates corrective action.
Prepare and present comprehensive management reports
that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances.
Manage a pro-active human resource function to
ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage and benefits
administration, and compliance with established labor regulations.
Implement and maintain an effective open-door
communication system that crosses departmental lines in order to reach all
employees.
Ensuring occupational health and safety by
establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures;
complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining work security systems.
Adhere to Government regulations that influence the
Company’s operations, ensuring Cafe Pap and Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge are
operating in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements
of Government.
Improve on professional and technical knowledge by
tracking emerging trends in the safari lodging and restaurant industries;
attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices;
participating in professional societies.
Experience:
The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business Management
At least five years’ experience in a similar
position in the Hospitality Industry
Computer literacy i.e. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
(MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Provable skills in strategic planning
Demonstrated skills in preparing budgets and
financial plans.
Working knowledge of supply chain management.
Self-discipline, takes initiative, good leadership
ability and outgoing personality.
Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to
ensure that production and service meet appropriate standards.
Ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously
coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to
both the Lodge and Cafe.
Excellent communication skills for dealing with
diverse staff.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food,
beverage and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in
daily activities.
The individual should have reliable means of
transport to/from work with a valid driver’s license.
