currently heads the U.S Mission to Uganda. 
The Mission is composed of several offices and organizations all working
under the auspices of the Embassy and at the direction of the Ambassador.

Job
Summary:
The Warehouseman will support the Warehouse/Property Supervisor and
Storekeeper Supervisor is managing the non-expendable warehouse performing
warehousemen duties.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Warehouse Duties: 25%
·        
Loading and offloading furniture, equipment and
supplies and place in Warehouse.
·        
Set up and arrange party functions, clean/wash
tents, glassware, flatware, chairs and tables. Move furniture, appliances and
equipment.
·        
Keep warehouse and property clean and neat.
2. House Make-Readies: 20%
·        
Deliver, place and set up furniture, appliances
and welcome kit supplies in new and existing residences.
·        
Hang draperies and make beds and ensure house in
order for new arrivals.
3. Party Items: 20%
·        
Issue, record, deliver party items which includes
tents, tables, chairs, dishes, glassware and flatware.
·        
Ensure all delivered items have been returned,
cleaned and put under proper storage. If not returned, track down and keep inventory
of these items.
3. Equipment and Tools: 10%
·        
Responsible for safe keeping, inventory of ware
house property, and, operating of both power and manual equipments/tools used
in the warehouse.
·        
Report any breakages or damaged property to the
Warehouse Supervisor.
4. Inventory: 10% Participate
in physical annual inventory exercise, reconciliation duties and activities.

5. Warehouse Disposal Sales: 10%
·        
Organize, deliver, arrange and tag furniture for
auction at the site.
·        
Carry out any other duties as assigned by your
Supervisor. 10%
6. Others: All other
duties as assigned 5%
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
NOTE:

The ideal candidate for the US Embassy
Warehouseman career placement must have completion O’ Level.
·        
A minimum of two years’ experience in warehouse
work is required.
·        
Ability to learn locations of various types of
supply items and property items and to learn to recognize items by sight and
from oral descriptions.
·        
Physical ability to make safety decisions when
moving furniture and operating power and manual equipment and tools is
required.
·        
Language
Proficiency:
List both English and host country language(s) by
level and specialization. Level III English (good working knowledge of written
and spoken language) ability is required.
