Job Summary:  The Senior Learning and Development Officer
will oversee the implementation of individual, team and organizational training
and development needs in line with identified training needs, the Learning and
development policy, and the Housing Finance Bank’s strategy
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
The incumbent will manage training programmes based
on identified corporate, departmental and individual needs.
·        
Implement and coordinate training development
programmes in line with approved corporate training and development budget and
plan.
·        
Regularly review training and development programmes
to suit prevailing trends in the banking industry and the Bank’s corporate
objectives.
·        
The duty bearer will develop and prepare
instructional materials, visual aids, and reference materials in line with the
specific program objectives.
·        
Offer timely administrative support to the bank’s
training activities in line with the Annual Training plan
·        
Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of
training programs in a timely manner in line with the training plans and
policies.
·        
Prepare, produce and send periodic reports regarding
training data as and when required in line with the Bank’s annual training plan
·        
Maintain accurate, organized and up-to-date training
records in line with the bank policies
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Human
Resources Management, Organisational and industrial psychology or related field
·        
Possession of a post graduate diploma is an added
advantage
·        
At least three years’ experience in an L&D Role
in the busy commercial establishment
·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of new trends in
Learning and development and general HR best practices.
·        
Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent communication and coordination skills
·        
Excellent planning and organisation skills
·        
Highly proactive and quick response to customers’ queries
·        
Customer centric disposition
·        
Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills
·
