with the Uganda Communications Commission dealing in Voice over Internet
Protocol (VOIP) call termination and Wholesale Data, trading as Roke Telkom.
Job Summary: The Sales Executive
will support Roke Telkom by driving the Sales growth in a number of
accounts/clients portfolio, volumes in net sales, market intelligence and
management of client relationship.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
The job holder will be tasked with mapping out and
performing pre-sales/sales engagement with all major enterprises and corporate
companies by offering tailored solutions based on current industrial trends.
Drawing and implementing weekly, monthly, quarterly
and annual sales plans and executing them to acquire new business.
Responsible for monitoring competitor’s product
introduction, promotional activities and tariffs on all product/ service
Achievement of set monthly targets.
Supporting customers in making buying decisions and
to explain product benefits in an accurate and appealing manner.
Engaging with procurement processes to secure supply
contracts for major ICT/ISP projects.
Being proactive in discovering and fulfilling the
requirements of any bidding process.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Marketing / Business Administration from a recognised University.
At least two years of progressively responsible
experience in sales.
Prior experience in selling and managing
telecommunications products and services is an added advantage.
