About Compassion Project:
The Diocese of
Rwenzori Church of Uganda is working in partnership with Compassion
International in the Ministry of Nurturing Poor Children, and releasing them
from poverty in Jesus name.
Job Summary: The Child
Development Officer Relations will ensure timeliness of quality child to
sponsor correspondence, update information, documents and materials. The
incumbent keeps office and child development records, is responsible for child
development programming, carries out child home visits and follow-ups.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·        
The ideal candidates should hold a degree in any of
the following areas BBA, SWASA, Community Psychology, adult and Community
Education, Development Studies, Education or related humanities
·        
Past exposure and experience in child and community
development work or knowledge of child sponsorship / Donor mechanisms.
·        
Working knowledge and practice in Planning,
Monitoring and Evaluation of community based projects.
·        
Proven experience in Advocacy and Partnership
building.
·        
Proven Integrity in Personal and Public life in line
with the Christian Values.
·        
The applicant should be prepared to work beyond
normal working hours as will be required in a rural setting with children and
caregivers.
·        
The ideal candidates must be Born Again Christian
Professionals.
·        
Age: 22-35 years
old
