Job Summary: The District
Distribution Manager will be responsible for overseeing Distributors DSR teams,
freelance team, and tracking territory performance in terms of revenue,
joiners, KYC and control churn in order to effectively contribute to the growth
of Airtel Uganda’s market share and the achievement of overall business
objectives for the territory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
The incumbent will develop route plans of
distributor, trade promotions in order to achieve sales targets.
·        
Achieve sales targets of new customers, voucher
billing and handset sales & all other Distributor KPI’s.
·        
Work closely with the distributor to ensure
continuous availability of stock, branding & visibility in all retail
outlets.
·        
Continuously recruit new retailers and develop
existing retailers.
·        
Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports
on the sales trends in the territory.
·        
Motivate, develop and train dealer staff in the
territory.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The Airtel District Distribution Manager should hold
a bachelor’s degree in related field.
·        
At least two years’ experience in sales on a company
role of a FMCG/ Distribution/ telecom company.
·        
Broad working knowledge and experience of managing
Distributors/ Channel Partners.
·        
Previous experience of building and development of
Distributor Team.
·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of people
management, planning and organization skills.
·        
High drive for results.
·        
Performance management and business overall objective.
·        
Customer focus.
·        
Keen attention to detail.
·        
Positive attitude.
