Job Summary:  The Process Engineer Support (PES) trainee is
the keeper of the body of manufacturing process knowledge supports the
development of new products and ensures the right quality lubricants are
produced with the concept of COG optimization. The work involves both
developments of new technology as well as maintaining material specifications
pertinent to this area.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
Fully understand products’ compositions, productions
and applications.
·        
Support lubricants formulation and product
development/ Upgrade
·        
Work closely and coordinate activities with
technical sales team to introduce new products into production and address
root-cause quality issues associated with lubricants quality defects.
·        
Coordinate certain testing for quality purposes
& recommend changes to product specifications as necessary.
·        
In charge of identifying concepts, technologies and
methods to improve plant operations. Improvements may be in areas such as: COG
optimization for locally blended MOGAS lubricant, Customer Service, Quality,
Safety or Operability. This may include improvement to items such as equipment,
methods, procedures or controls.
·        
Support production to keep the plant running,
working closely with operators and supervisors to drive continuous, reliable
production.
·        
Organize and design new technology experiments,
collaborate with R&D and Sales team to ensure market penetration of new
products.
·        
Support in developing specifications, MSDS’s and
technical reports for products.
·        
Regularly reviews existing manufacturing processes
and/or development and production data
·        
Recommends changes or additional experiments to
improve quality, productivity, recovery and overall efficiency
·        
Trains manufacturing staff on new or changed
processes and the use of equipment and provide technical guidance to less
experienced staff
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
·        
The applicant should preferably hold a BS Degree in
Production engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Petroleum
Engineering
·        
At least one to two years’ experience with preferably
a year either in a chemical or food processing plant or manufacturing
environment.
·        
Strong technical writing skills
·        
Computer literacy i.e. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
·        
Prior experience working with oil analysis or
experience in oil industry
·        
Familiarity with root cause analysis and/or risk
assessment
·        
Working knowledge process automation
·        
Exceptional presentation skills, to all levels, both
internally and externally.
