Job Summary: The Area
Coordinator manages American Refugee Committee’s response in the assigned Field
Site and is responsible for timely and high-quality program implementation and
support. The Area Coordinator provides supervision and leadership to both
program and operational (support service – HR, Finance, Operations) staff at
the field site, ensuring adherence to agreed work plans and reporting schedules
as well as full compliance to ARC’s policies in the areas of Finance, HR,
Logistics and Information Management as well as to donor regulations/polices. The
incumbent will also work closely with the Program, Finance, HR and Logistics
senior staff, technical staff as well as with donors and government in the
assigned area to ensure that programmatic and operational strategies are
coordinated and implemented in a timely manner at the field site.

government authorities, UN, NGOs and donors at field level;

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:

The Area Coordinator should preferably hold a BA in
development studies/Community Development or related field. A Masters in
Management will be an added advantage.

At least three years’ experience as Head of Office
