Job Summary:  The Financial Manager will oversee all the
activities of the financial team and to ensure timeous and accurate reporting
of financial results in order to meet the requirements of financial auditing
procedures. Financial guidance must be provided to ensure business targets are
met. Potential risks must be identified, communicated, monitored and
controlled. In addition, strategic business support must be provided to the
organisation by means of assessing financial viability of new business
initiatives. It is the responsibility of the financial manager to ensure that
all legal requirements are met with respect to financial reporting and that
best practice is implemented within the organisation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
Income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
Responsible for monthly financial management
accounts reporting
Full financial reconciliation process
In charge of billing system and internal control
Stock Control and purchase order system and
Capex internal control procedures
Financial Business Support to General Manager
Sales and Marketing Support – Revenue Analysis and
Strategic Planning
Provide Customer Support – tenders, contracts and
annual rate increases
Cash Flow
Budgeting and Financial rolling forecast
Debtors collecting, stock levels and procurement
Cost control within operations and cost standards
Cost accounting and project accounting
Benchmark process
Monthly management accounts reporting
Monthly Financial Management Review with Directors
Annual external audit preparation and management
Ensure quantity and quality of financial personnel
is appropriate to meet the goals of the financial department.
Ensure appropriate skills are present within the
department and identify gaps which can be closed through training and / or
Assess and mentor staff to ensure performance of
financial team is of the highest possible standard.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should possess the B Comm or
equivalent qualification
A minimum of six years of financial management
