Job Summary: The Programme
Officer will support the Programme Manager in managing the daily activities and
execution of an inclusive education programme with assigned partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
Technically support partners to identify their own
technical and capacity building needs and to ensure these needs are met through
the project cycle.
·        
Oversee all aspects of the project cycle with
partners to ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring and
evaluation besides financial and asset management, reporting and documentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
·        
The ideal candidate will be a Ugandan national who
holds a degree in Education or a related field
·        
A minimum of five or more years working experience,
ideally in an NGO environment and have experience of implementing programmes,
including experience of the education sector.
·        
Comprehensive knowledge in designing, managing, supporting
and implementing education programmes for children
·        
Working knowledge of current issues, best practices
and the local education system, particularly relating to the education of
children with disabilities.
·        
Excellent communication skills
·        
Fluency in both written and spoken English
·        
Computer literacy and IT skills
·        
Proficiency in interpreting and understanding project
budgets, forecasts and reports.
