processing player in Uganda and the Region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
In
charge of handling all orders for the Regional Organization
·        
In
charge of ensuring Security arrangements at all warehouses, scheduling
maintenance, repairs and replacement of equipment
·        
Responsible
for organizing the dispatch and delivery of goods in all warehouses
·        
Ensuring
goods are stored safely
·        
The
Manager will oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety
standards
·        
Keeping
accurate records and managing timesheets
·        
Use
IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs;
·        
Use
associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle;
·        
Use
data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan
improvements;
·        
Allocate
and manage staff resources according to changing needs;
·        
Manage
a large workforce of staff and ensure they are fully trained
·        
Work
closely with and negotiate with customers and suppliers;
·        
In
charge of analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions;
·        
Understand,
work with and possibly help to develop e-commerce;
·        
Continually
try to improve and develop business performance within the constraints of
legislation, fuel costs and rising environmental pressures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
·        
The
ideal candidate should preferably hold a Degree in (Supply Chain Management and
Logistics, or Engineering)
·        
A
minimum of fifteen years’ experience working in a similar senior managerial
role in different companies.
·        
Applicants
with senior managerial experience and qualifications in Warehousing and
Distribution Operations will have an added advantage.
·        
Excellent
analytical and IT skills, Good leadership skills
·        
Integrity
is key and a good planner as well as an organizer
·        
Excellent
communication skills
·        
Ability
to work under pressure to meet deadlines
·        
Good
working knowledge of ERP systems
