Job Summary: The Head of Production will be responsible for
overseeing and coordinating both the Kajjansi and Kamonkoli production
operations making sure that they run smoothly and efficiently while developing
strategies to increase production at minimal costs. The incumbent also works closely with the Factory Managers
to increase productivity and profitability within the production department
based on safety, environmental and quality standards and company policies at
all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee
and coordinate planning activities to ensure that correct types and quantities
of products are provided by the factory to meet customer requirements.

charge of developing and ensuring implementation of strategic and operational
plans for the production department that will result in sustainable success and
profitability for the company.

Manage
the production team, in a manner that empowers them to efficiently produce to
the required quality standards and quantity of products and deliver excellent
customer service.

for analysing production and quality assurance data in order to rectify any
non-conformances.

that mechanical maintenance is planned and scheduled to minimise disruption to
production hence supporting the team as required to ensure effective ongoing
maintenance of the production lines.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

The
Head of Production should hold an Honors degree in Ceramics or a related field.
Possession of an advanced degree in management will be an added advantage
