Job
Summary:
The Credit
Manager Micro-Finance will support PostBank in the steering the growth of the
micro-finance loan book in terms of volumes and quality with a close focus on
group lending.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
In
charge of approving loans in accordance with the policies of the bank
·        
Offers
technical support to Group Loans and Individual Loans Officers
·        
Manages
the Micro Credit operations of the bank
·        
In
charge of mentoring and training Group and Micro Credit Officers
·        
Ensures
strict adherence to credit policies and procedures
·        
Ensures
that risk decisions are consistent with business objectives
·        
Guides
and supports the monitoring and recovery of all micro loans
·        
Actively
monitors and evaluates the performance of credit staff
·        
Ensures
all credit risks are understood and that credit decisions are explicit
·        
Ensure
growth of Micro credit loan book in both volumes and quality
·        
Perform
any other duties as assigned by the Head of Credit.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
ideal candidate for the PostBank Credit Manager Micro-Finance should hold an
honors Bachelor’s Degree in Microfinance, Business Administration, Commerce, or
Economics or any related course
·        
A
minimum of three years’ experience in Credit Management and Group lending
methodology in a reputable financial institution
·        
Working
knowledge of microfinance and in particular Group lending
·        
Excellent
credit proposal writing, accounting, credit risk management, planning and team
management skills
·        
Excellent
interpersonal oral and communication skills
·        
Strong
team player, Creativity and innovation
·        
Good
grasp of the bank’s products and processes
·        
Working
knowledge of organizational structure, work flow and operational procedures
·        
Good
business acumen
·        
Proactive
approach to work with a high level of maturity and self-drive
·        
Highly
level of integrity and ethical standards
·        
Working
knowledge of excellent customer service standards
