protection.
Job Summary: The Training
and Outreach Officer will be responsible for the mobilization, implementation
and development of community sensitization and training activities for
beneficiary-community and all actors relevant to achieving the project goal.
The incumbent will carry out awareness campaigns and in depth training sessions
encompassing the subject of human rights, protection, SGBV and Child Rights.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • In charge of developing and carrying out
    community sensitizations and dialogues.
  • Provide technical training on SGBV,
    protection and Child rights to trainers, partners, justice and legal
    actors, and other relevant actors.
  • In charge of preparing communication and
    training materials, and develop new sensitization and training approaches.
  • Responsible for preparing narrative
    reports on activities and recommend improvements to the programme.
  • Make follow up visits in each community
    after activities to document impact, and strengthen referral network.
  • Conduct radio panel discussions.
  • Perform any other related duties as shall
    be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    University degree in Law, Social Work, Social Sciences, Development
    Studies or related field.
  • Working knowledge and skills in
    participatory methodology to facilitate trainings with community.
  • Proficiency in computer packages such as
    (MS word Excel Power point and Data base).
  • Fluency in English and local language is
    essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication
    skills.
  • Ability to prepare timely, periodic and
    quality project reports
