About ICRC:
The International Committee of the Red
Cross (ICRC) is a neutral and independent international humanitarian
organisation, which assists and protects victims of armed conflicts and other
situations of violence. The ICRC is currently looking for staff for its support
operations to South Sudan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Storekeepers will be charged with carrying out simple warehousing tasks
charge of tallying goods during loading / offloading and update bin cards
all the stock items are accompanied by the appropriate documents
stock in order and offers support to the counting for the inventory
Storekeeper will mentor and assist in the supervision of daily worker
any other duties as assigned by the Senior Storekeeper
Qualifications, Skills and
Storekeeper should preferably hold either a U.C.E or U.A.C.E Certificate
vocational training in administration, logistics or storekeeping is an added
least two years’ experience in Logistics, storekeeping, administration or
similar position
literacy skills
in report writing
command of both written and spoken English language
