Job Summary: The Resident Officers will support Spedag
Interfreight through the provision of onsite customer relations and logistic
services to our client in consideration of lead times and ensure continuous
customer satisfaction, retention and business development  
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • The job holders directs all allocated
    client accounts to ensure that the necessary documentation is availed by
    the client prior to clearance
  • Expeditiously follows up with internal
    stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of client cargo
    within the agreed upon lead times
  • Offers timely cordial and comprehensive
    feedback to the various stake holders regarding status of client cargo,
    payments and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinates delivery of all client cargo
    and follows up for confirmation of the same using the relevant
  • Works closely with Customs and other
    stakeholders on matters related to client cargo to ensure continuous
    compliance to customs clearance procedures by our client
  • Ensures timely invoicing of all client
    cargo and follows up for timely collection of out standings.
  • Carry out regular reconciliation of the Spedag
    Interfreight and client account in liaison with Finance and prepares
    monthly reports for the client Procurement Manager
  • Pursues business prospects and follows up
    on leads to ensure continuous business development.  
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold
    a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Procurement and
    Logistics or International Business Certification in EACFFPC is an
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a
    reputable clearing and forwarding industry  
  • Excellent client relation/ customer care skills
  • High self-drive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Communication and reporting
  • Willingness to take on new opportunities
    and challenges
  • Passionate about customer relations and
    willing to grow in this field.
