Job
Summary:
 The Supervisor Credit Evaluation
will technically support the growth and maintenance of a credit portfolio of
high quality through the management of the credit underwriting process with a
view to minimizing the occurrence of delinquency plus the establishment and
management of sound credit risk management policies and procedures.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Perform the credit underwriting of credit
facilities in line with all compliance requirements set out in the Bank’s
Credit policies and procedures.
·        
Conduct borrower-specific credit risk analysis to
minimise default risk; review, appraise and recommend credit facilities as
provided for and in accordance with the existing Credit Policy.
·        
Guide as appropriate, on the structuring by
Business departments of new credit facility transactions, related terms,
conditions and documentation in order to enhance the quality of information
received by the approving authorities.
·        
Communicate regularly and in a timely manner to
credit process stakeholders on credit risk management policies, procedure and
other credit risk management information.
·        
Identify and follow through on opportunities for
process improvement and key country/industry/sector trends that would impact
the Credit Risk function in line with Bank’s growth strategy.
·        
Mentor, coach and effect knowledge transfer to
Relationship Managers, Officers, Other Bank staff in respect of matters related
to credit assessments/analysis, structure, policies and procedures.
·        
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior
Manager Credit Evaluation.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related course from a recognised university.
Possession of Post graduate qualifications in Banking or a business related
course will be an added advantage
·        
Excellent track record in Credit Analysis and
Evaluation
·        
Working knowledge in assessment of credit products
across diverse client and product segments i.e. SMEs, Agriculture, Mortgages,
Leasing, Trade Finance
·        
Basic knowledge of law related to financial
services.
·        
Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision
making skills
Age: Below 30
years.
