Job Summary: The Huawei Enterprise Solution Architect will support
the Service Delivery Manager by developing and maintaining CUSTOMER’s IT
architecture.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Render
    support in determining enterprise level systems architecture, design and
    approaches to deployment for CUSTOMER.
  • Support
    in continually benchmarking CUSTOMER’s IT system against best practice
    standards (e.g. ISO27001, etc.), defining best practice adoption plans and
    proffer recommendations to the Service Delivery Manager.
  • Render
    support in ensuring compliance of all architecture/design changes to approved
    IT standards and policies.
  • Assist
    in enforcing standardised change control methods to guarantee that
    production systems run only on authorised and tested configurations.
  • Support
    in implementing automated configuration audits using appropriate tools.
  • Maintain
    an accurate record of CUSTOMER’s IT Architecture and Security status on a
    regular basis and escalate irregularities to the Service Delivery Manager.
  • Work
    closely with the relevant unit/ team/function in carrying out all relevant
    activities.
  • Attend
    team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
  • Offer
    guidance and manage the performance of subordinates (where applicable).
  • Prepare/compile
    agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the
    Service Delivery Manager.
  • Carry
    out any other duties as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The
    ideal candidate for the aforementioned Huawei Enterprise Solution
    Architect career opportunity should hold a first degree or equivalent in a
    relevant discipline
  • A
    minimum of five years of related work experience
