Job Summary: The
Governance Specialist/Technical Advisor I will provide specific technical
expertise to the program. She/he will lead, manage, and coordinate the
implementation through WASH governance to include: rights awareness, capacity
building in skills, tools, and analysis, alliance building, as well as advocacy
to influence governments for more and better WASH services and policies. She/he
will represent the program to key stakeholders within the community and
government; coordinate program activities with partners; and influence the
design and implementation of WASH policies at all levels.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should preferably hold an MBA or related - A
minimum of five to eight years’ experience in institutional capacity
building, partnership building with local and national governments, policy
development - Past
exposure and experience with resource mobilization and advocacy for WASH
Understanding of decentralized governance, planning, budgeting
