wide cross-section of TV audiences across all the key towns in Uganda.
Key Duties &
  • Achieving business results as per the Corporate
    plan for the year and ensuring market penetration
  • Developing and implementing distribution strategies
  • Ensuring stock availability of all hardware
    devices in all channels across the country
  • Effectively manage the selection of dealers/
    agents and promote the image of DStv/G0tv as worthy partners to conduct
    business with
  • Ensure new dealers/agents are set up within a
    specified period and achieve market penetration Planning, implementing,
    developing and tracking all aspects of hardware distribution programs to
    support enablement/selling to the channel and to drive sell-through of the
    DStv/G0tv/Mobile services through the channels
  • Holding review meetings with the dealers and
    agents across the country and ensuring that high standards are maintained
  • Ensuring that dealers are motivated and
    supported to operate their businesses efficiently
  • Addressing performance of dealers and agents in
    the network
  • Providing market intelligence reports
  • Ensuring training is offered to the contact
    teams throughout the distribution network
  • Addressing performance gaps for all dealers and
  • Studying market trends and making appropriate
    recommendations for improving overall reach
  • Conducting physical visits/travel to upcountry
    towns to assess the performance of our distribution channels in the market
Qualifications, Skills and
  • The applicant should hold a Marketing degree from a recognized
  • 5 – 7 years of channel development/ marketing
    experience in related industries, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience
    in device marketing and distribution
  • Proven success in growing channel sales through
    innovative marketing strategies
  • In-depth understanding of how channels work and
    how to effect change quickly within the channel
  • Excellent listening, strong analytic skills and
    attention to detail
  • Computer literacy skills & excellent
    communication skills
Age: 28 – 34 years
