Uganda and a member of the International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is
seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated individuals to fill the enlisted
positions; following the support received from the Joint Population Program –
financed by DFID through the World Health Organization (WHO) to Uganda Blood
Transfusion Services (UBTS); to establish three new blood collection teams in
Lira, Arua and Moroto Districts. URCS has therefore, been entrusted by UBTS to
contract and jointly implement activities for this program. URCS is an equal

Job Summary: The System
Administrators will ensure integrity and protection of data, computers, and
accessories and maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to standard operating
procedures.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Oversees computer maintenance, troubleshooting
and repairs function. - Maintains an operational systems network.
- Assists in coordinating research work in
related fields. - Creates collaborative links with other research
organisations and publication of findings. - Advises Management on technological advances in
computer systems. - Ensures dissemination and sharing of
information.
Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Bachelors’ degree
or its equivalent in Information System, Software Management or Computer
Science. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills, good command of English. Knowledge of local language is an added
advantage.
