About Posta:
Posta Uganda a wholly-owned government company is a leading provider of
a wide range of postal, logistical, IT, and financial services in Uganda, with
international links to all major postal administrations world-wide.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist driver to load and off-load mail
    on/off the bus
  • Assist Post Bus passengers to embark and
    disembark
  • Conduct ticket checks before departure to
    ensure that all passengers have paid the fare
  • Assist the driver to assess if the vehicle
    is in good mechanical condition
  • Assist the driver to carry out minor
    repairs on the motor vehicle
  • Survey and advise driver on existence of
    passengers
  • Issue tickets for all passengers and
    collect company revenues
  • Account to the Bus Driver, all ticket
    revenues collected
  • Ensure secure and intact Mail Delivery



Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:
  • The applicant should possess an Ordinary
    Diploma in a Business related field, preferably Accounting
  • Possession of a driving license or
    additional qualifications such as Mechanical Engineering or Accounts will
    be an added advantage
  • At least two (2) years experience
  • Ability to speak and write English
  • Ability to check minor defects on the
    vehicle
  • Possess excellent Customer Care skills
