Finance and
Administrative Manager
UNCC is a semi
autonomous body established by the Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap.
50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in
Uganda. The Institution has employment vacancies to be filled by innovative,
self driven and competent candidates to be engaged on contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Heads Marketing Teams
  • Develops a Marketing
    Strategy and Plans for the Centre
  • Liaises with Public Relations Officer to
    build a good image of the Centre
  • Organises market and
    marketing surveys for National Theatre and Nommo Gallery
  • To promote and market UNCC as
    a one stop centre arts and culture in the country

Skills and Experience:
  • An honours Bachelors
    degree or its equivalent in Business Administration or Commerce
    (Marketing option) from a recognized institution
  • Attained at least Level II
    of professional training in Marketing e.g. CIMA
  • Certified training in
    cultural economics is an added advantage
  • Should have at least three
    (2) years’demonstrated work experience
  • Self-motivated and results
  • Highly innovative and
    variously creative
  • A good networker
  • Well developed
    leadership, team building and communication skills
  • Ability to think
    strategically and foster change in self and others
  • Possessing appropriate Information Communication Technology skills
