Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage
    the overall business plan and value propositions for the fixed business of
    UTL, focused on achieving the overall Micro & Macro level targets of
    both net and gross additions which provides the company with long-term and
    sustainable competitive advantage
  • Identify
    value added service gaps within the market and commission the development
    of new products and services, based on evidence of profitable market
  • Study
    the needs of established and new customers for development of new
    customized solutions resulting in Retention, Enhanced Revenue and generate
    new business
  • Collaborate
    with Vendors & Technology Teams to ensure complete customer
    satisfaction by developing foolproof products in line with customer and
    market requirement
  • Propose,
    customized business proposals to meet demands of  large Corporate,
    SME and SOHO clientele, evaluate and participate in government &
    non-government tenders
  • Maintain
    mutually beneficial relations with staff, vendors, clients and key
    decision makers within and outside the organization for smooth
    implementation of overall commercial strategy
  • Create
    and maintain a distinct Business to Business & High Value brand within
    and outside the company which differentiates Uganda Telecom from other
  • Manage
    the ROI of the promotions & products by recommending, evaluating &
    implementing policies based on profitability and maintain/enhance ARPU
  • Technical
    Evaluation, Design & Implementations of Pricing and Products both
    Voice & Data with a focus on market acceptance and company
Skills & Experience:
  • A
    Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum
    of 5 years experience at a managerial level in a marketing environment.
  • Experience
    in managing a B2B team in an operator with a large business customer base.
