Job Summary:  The Administration Officer will develop and
implement a plan for maintaining the office premises, reserve hotels, arrange
internal and external flights and supervise the transport department in
Karamoja.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design,
    monitor the implementation of financial controls for administration
    department for efficient, effective and economic operations in Karamoja
    region.
  • Provide
    managerial and coordinating roles for office support services in the
    following areas:- Hospitality to visitors, Hotel and other reservations
    and travel bookings.
  • Monitor
    and implement the payment of office utility bills
  • Plan,
    monitor and implement the maintenance of WVU vehicles and motorcycles in
    line with WVU transport guidelines/ policies
  • Nurture,
    mentor, coach and develop capacity of administration and transport staff
    into competent team
  • Requisition
    for stock for department’s use from logistics department and control their
    uses by staff in accordance with WV regulations
 Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Must
    possess a University degree in any Business discipline. 
  • Must
    have basic knowledge in computer applications like MS Office.
  • Knowledge
    in logistical operations is an added advantage.
  • Any
    experience in administration of a large NGO setting is also an added
    advantage
  • A
    mature and committed Christian, able to stand above denominational
    diversities.
