Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible for maintaining financial records, and to receiving and keeping custody of cash and cheques.
About Mildmay:
Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda. Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala, Mildmay Uganda is seeking applications from experienced and motivated people interested in a rewarding career undertaking the challenging roles.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor of Commerce [Accounting) with Part 1 of ACCA or CPA S/he must have at least 2 years of accounting work with demonstrable knowledge of Accounting Systems.
· Hands-on-computer skills in MS Word, Excel and QuickBooks are a requirement for this job. S/he must be a person of strong integrity
· Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial. Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
· Must be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda.
· Evidence of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.
