Job Title: Treasury Dealing Manager
Reports to: Chief Manager Treasury
Centenary Bank, the leading Commercial Microfinance Bank in Uganda seeks to recruit suitably qualified, experienced and competent persons in the following fields;
Job Summary: To identify, measure control and monitor market and liquidity risks of the Bank while optimizing returns in compliance with ALCO policy and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Manage the foreign exchange position of the Bank while optimizing income.
· Optimize income from trading in money markets products.
· Monitor the Bank’s treasury risk in relation to exchange, liquidity, market, counterparty and regulatory framework.
· Proactively develop the bank’s share of secondary market in line with the set targets.
· Manage the liquidity of the Bank.
· Manage the foreign exchange rates for the bank in line with market and bank’s risk appetite.
· Ensure that the Bank’s cash reserve position is optimized.
· Maintain a rolling liquidity forecast for the bank.
· Prepare periodic reports to management to facilitate both tactical and strategic decision making.
· Manage the performance and development of staff in the Treasury Unit in line with their performance needs, the unit wok plan and the HR Policies.
Qualifications, Skills& Experience:
· Business or financial related degree.
· ACI Dealing qualification or equivalent.
· Proven trading experience in domestic and forex money markets preferably in a large financial institutions.
· Presentation skills and excellent team player Effective Selling skills High level of integrity.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Good planning and organizational skills.
