Job Title: Procurement Officer
Organisation: National Medical Stores
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· To ensure timely execution and administration of contracts with suppliers in accordance with the NMS procurement manual.
· Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of reports related to procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and non trading stock in accordance with NMS set guidelines.
· To effectively supervise subordinate procurement staff to perform the functions attached to their jobs in order to meet their corporate goals .
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· A Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (Honors) from a recognized university.
· He/She must be registered with the pharmacy Board.
· At least one year of working experience with a reputable organization.
· Computer knowledge in MS Excel, Word and Access.
· He/She must have analytical abilities problem solving and proactive in planning.
