Duties & Responsibilities:
·         You will be respon­sible for the entire program Partners under the while maintaining effective internal relationships with the Finance Officer for cross functional support.
·         The Partner finance officer will support the Karamoja Program by contributing to the effective Program Partnerships, managing risks, assessments, capacity and finance resource availability for the implementation of the Program.
·         You will be responsible for the effective partner support through conducting partner finance proposal appraisals, grant manage­ment, Audit, Capacity building, monthly partner visits, support on service procedures implementation, matrix compliance man­agement and reporting.
·         You will provide appropriate guidance to staff on Oxfam policies, donor and managing operational risk.
·         You regularly visit projects to monitor the activities agreed by the Partnership and ensure any gaps are resolved appropriately.
·         You will cover for the Finance Officer in the absence of the staff.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         You should have a minimum first degree in Business Studies, Commerce or Economics, and preferably with partial profes­sional qualification in ACCA or CPA or equivalent substantial experience (minimum of 3 years) in a similar role.
·         You should have a demonstrated ability to undertake partner reporting pe­riodically according to program and donor requirements in re­lation to procurement, asset and financial procedures.
·         You will possess professional ability to work under minimum supervision and coaching skills.
·         A person of integrity and able to manage operational risks, with attention to detail, meeting deadlines for both internal and external clients.
·         Experience of Partner Grant Management, budget preparation and reporting are essential.
·         You should have proven experience of working with programme and service team supporting effectively.
·         You will be adaptable and flexible, able to demonstrate cultural and gender sensitivity.
·         Ability to build capacity willingness to live and work in a remote, insecure environment is an added advantage.
