Vacancies: The Union has potentially three positions to fill to support a five-year USAID/Uganda National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program (NTLP) in Uganda. The project is expected to be launched in January 2013. Please note that recruitment will depend on The Union’s successful application for funding from USAID/Uganda.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist
The M&E Specialist shall develop reporting systems and indicators to ensure quality, timely, and accurate data collection, including baseline values as is appropriate to track progress in meeting program objectives. S/he will have the following qualifications skills and experience:
·         Master’s Degree in Development Studies or any relevant discipline;
·         Demonstrated academic and practical skills in monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS, RH/FP, and/or other relevant services, including maternal health, malaria and TB or related areas in developing countries;
·         Demonstrated practical skills in data analysis and report writing;
·         Familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements as they pertain to TB/HIV S/he will have oversight of country level monitoring and reporting to the Mission or (as necessary) USAID/W through the Country Operational Plan.
