UWESO is a National Non Government Organization committed to improving the quality of life of the orphans and other vulnerable children. In order to implement its next 5 year Strategic Plan 2011-2015 UWESO seeks to recruit a qualified person to fill the following vacant position:
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: UWESO Head Office
Job Summary: The M&E/QA Manager shall be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of UWESO program activities, focusing specifically on data management, systems for measuring project implementation, quality assurance, and reporting.
Job Summary: The M&E/QA Manager shall be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of UWESO program activities, focusing specifically on data management, systems for measuring project implementation, quality assurance, and reporting.
Key Tasks:
· To develop and continually update the organisation M&E Management Information Systems to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, storage and reporting
· To monitor progress of implementation to ensure quality and guide management by carrying out continuous and/or periodic field monitoring visits and ensure production of quality reports.
· To ensure availability of accurate timely data and information to stakeholders in order to facilitate informed decision making
· To conduct/ coordinate periodic programme reviews and/ evaluations in order to ensure quality of services provided in various programmes
· Take lead in the development, implementation and review of the Quality Management System (Standard Operating procedures, Quality standards and assessment tools) to ensure Regulatory requirements are met and best practice is achieved
Desired Qualifications & Experience
· Degree in Statistics/ Quantitative Economics
· Experience in qualitative as well as quantitative data analysis and dissemination.
· A minimum of 3-5 years work experience as a Monitoring & Evaluation/ Quality Assurance Manager.
· Key skills in Project planning and management, Monitoring and Evaluation and
Management Information Systems, Computer packages such as SPSS, EPINFO etc
