Job Summary: The Mechanical
Artisan will support the technicians to carry out mechanical maintenance
activities and routine works on the plant.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Plant Repairs
  • Repair
    and cleaning of equipment in the mechanical section
  • Replace
    seals and guides on gates
  • Dismantle
    and repair control gates
  • Cure
    oil leakages on pumps
Preventative Maintenance
  • Inspecting
    machines, pumps, bearing, motors, screens, bolts, cranes, (mainly assist
    Technicians during preventive maintenance).
  • Cleaning
    machine parts
  • Service
    and grease machine parts as necessary
  • Transformer
    pit cleaning
Dismantle and erect
scaffolding
Others:
  • Handle
    repairs of plant, modifications and troubleshooting for solutions while
    ensuring safety of plant, equipment and people.
  • Participate
    in project execution.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant should hold an advanced Craft Certificate in Mechanical
    Engineering
  • Two
    years of related experience
  • Behavioural:
    Integrity, honesty, trustworthy and professionalism.
  • Leadership
  • Knowledge
    of Turbine water ways, work at heights and confined place.
  • Analytical
    Skill (Interpret engineering sketches and drawing, hydraulic circuits)
  • Customer
    and Quality Focus
  • Communication
    Skills
  • Team
    Work
