Job Summary: The Supervisor
Records and Information Management will plan, monitor, Coordinate and review of
Records Management system of Centenary Bank.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop
    review and implement Records Management Policy and Procedures for Records
    management best practices for storage, retrieval and disposal of records.
  • The
    jobholder will supervise the management and organization of Registries,
    Records centers and Archives.
  • Design
    and oversee the implementation of the bank’s corporate Memory by
    determining clear retention periods and methods for various records.
  • Supervise
    and manage performance management of records management staff in line with
    Human resource policy.
  • Plan,
    budget and coordinate activities of Records units at Head office in line
    with the Bank policy.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank Supervisor Records and Information
    Management job placement should hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Library and
    Information Science
  • Five
    years of experience in Records and information Management field in a busy
    Organisation
  • Excellent
    customer service skills
  • Time
    management
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and communication skills ,both written and oral
  • Ability
    to plan, budget, schedule, and organize
  • People
    management skills
  • IT
    skills
  • Appropriate
    decision making while appraising records, dealing with records users from
    departments and branches
  • Planning
    skills both short and long term.
  • Ability
    to meet the role physical demands (Lifting boxes to access documents and
    climbing racks to access documents)
