About US:
African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and development-orientation areas.

Job Summary: The Logistics Officer will be following up on AIRD multi sectorial activities in the field particularly warehouse management and fleet management.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the AIRD Logistics Officer job should a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transport Management, Management or any other related field of study.
  • At least four years working experience in logistics operations.
  • Previous experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc and database packages
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness to work in any part of the country
