Job Title:     M&E Officer

About US:
African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and development-orientation areas.

Job Summary: The M&E Officer will be providing support in monitoring and evaluating ongoing works as per AIRD policies, procedures and donor requirements


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the AIRD M&E Officer job should have two years experience in monitoring and evaluation with at least one year with an international organization
  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or natural science discipline
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating Logistics and civil works projects
  • Experience of field data collection
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of project monitoring and evaluation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of honesty and Integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness to work in any part of the country
