number of countries in Africa and Asia on poverty alleviation Programs, is
registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements integrated
development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock,
Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The
    incumbent will analyze data to discover trends, patterns, discrepancies
    and insights on both health and business (sales and margins, ROI)
  • Pull
    and integrate data from different sources as well as fully understand
    health program operations and systems.
  • The
    jobholder will also create and validate record-keeping processes; and
    evaluate and preprocess raw information
  • Present
    and explain information in an accessible ways to relevant audiences.
  • Send
    timely feedback and build analytical tools/models for the existing HMIS
    and mobile dashboard to update reporting system on health activities and
    also develop the medicine and relevant health activities tracking.
  • Suggest
    ways to improve quality performances on health and sales and also reduce
    costs.
  • Develop
    and build on tools/models for CHP and health staff service delivery
    quality assurance and monitoring through HMIS
  • Report
    to the Program Manager on the above activities (target vs achievement)
    status and share updates routinely and accordingly



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The
    ideal candidate shoud preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics,
    Economics or related qualifications. A certificate / Post Graduate Diploma
    in M & E an added advantage.
  • Two
    years’ experience in Monitoring & Evaluation especially impact
    evaluation.
  • Excellent
    computer skills and knowledge especially MS. Excel, SPSS & STATA
    packages.
  • Excellent
    communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability
    to analyze very large data volumes and good data presentation skills.
