About US:
African Initiatives for Relief
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction,
infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief
and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
Job Summary: The Accountant
will perform financial management activities for finance department at Kampala
or field offices



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant for the AIRD Accountant job must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
    Accounting, Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce with
    speciality in finance/Accounting
  • A
    minimum of three years’ previous experience in general accounting or
    finance position
  • Proficiency
    in quick books or any other accounting software is added advantage
  • High
    level of honesty and Integrity
  • Keen
    attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced
    computer skills in accounting software with specialty in Quick BOOKS and
    MS Excel and other MS packages
  • Ability
    to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness
    to work in any part of the country.
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and communication skills.
