Job Summary: The Data
Integration Process Technician will play a technical role in RDM team in
Entebbe.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will:
·        
Provide support in the design and development of
reports and dashboards using tools like SAP Business Intelligence and MS Power
BI
·        
Keenly analyze requirements and develop
visualizations and reporting solution
·        
Support the development of SQL database and
stored procedure.
·        
Implement ETL processes to bring data from
different data sources into data repositories and warehouses. 
·        
Develop cubes and database views to expose data
to visualization tools
·        
Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data
used for analysis
·        
Perform sanity checks and unit testing of
reports
·        
Participate in end-user testing for bug fixing
and issues resolution
·        
Work closely with support teams for releases and
change management
·        
Process support Work Orders troubleshooting and
resolving reporting and BI incidents and problems.
·        
Develop documentation and supporting training
materials
·        
Perform other duties as required



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·        
The ideal candidate for the United Nations
Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Data Integration Process Technician job
placement should hold a High school diploma or equivalent.
·        
First-level university degree in Applied
Mathematics, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems /
Technology, Engineering or related field is an asset or advantage.
·        
At least six (6) years of progressively
responsible professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence,
Database Management, Information Systems and other related fields is required.
A candidate with a University degree must have at least two (2) years of
experience in the relevant area;
·        
A minimum of three (3) years of experience with
Power BI or SAP Business Objects (BO)
·        
A minimum of two (2) years of experience with
data integration, cleansing, ETL related areas;
·        
Ability to take high level, loosely-defined
business problems and identify precise, quantitative solutions;
·        
A minimum of two years of experience with
Microsoft SQL or any other database tool;
·        
Previous experience in solving analytical
problems using quantitative techniques;
·        
Strong experience in MS Excel
·        
Strong programming experience
·        
Language Requirements: Fluency in
written and oral English is required. Knowledge of a second UN language is
desirable.
