that provide it with human and financial resources, manage its projects and
implement its actions and social mission.
Job Summary: The Human
Resources Officer oversee the administrative follow-up of national and
international staff assists the team in the recruitment process and the
implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
Keep national staff files up-to-date:
  • The jobholder will check the validity and
    file documents in the staff files, and request for missing documents
  • Ensure all personnel files contain all the
    documentation required, by means of a checklist to be filled for each staff
    members’ personnel file
  • Keep an excel file updated with employee
    data
  • Collect all requests for leave days,
    overtime and salary advances and file them in the staff files
  • Regularly check that the request for
    annual leave days/overtime have been approved and conform with HI policies
    and national regulations  
  • Ensure confidentiality of all HR data.
Expatriate Administration:
  • Keep a record of expatriates’ expiry
    status of the visas
  • Support the admin coordinator on
    following-up of work permit
  • Prepare monthly expatriate Perdiem and
    allowance to be validated by Admin coordinator
Assist the monthly pay-roll:
  • Assist with the preparation of documents
    and information for the pay-roll and request for missing information.
  • Collect and input data in the database
    (days worked, overtime due, leaves…)
Contribute to organizing staff recruitment and departure:
  • Follow up of Job announcement publication
  • Make appointments with the candidates
  • Organize recruitment tests
  • Take part in or lead recruitment
    interviews upon request
  • Follow-up on all the recruitments and
    ensure the respect of recruitment process
  • Prepare the job offers
  • Greet and inform new employees on
    administrative issues and human resources
  • Collect all the personal information
    needed and make sure that every new employee signs an employment contract,
    a job description, and other relevant documents
  • Update the database accordingly in case of
    new contracts, amendments, end of contract or any other changes
  • Send all the information needed to the
    admin coordinator to organize the full and final payment
  • Prepare the contracts and addendum for
    administrator validation
Participate in other HR issues:
  • Keep an organization chart updated of the
    mission
  • Consolidate and report to the admin
    coordinator all requests from the staff
  • Support the Admin coordinator in the
    internal communication of HR issues
  • Assist the admin coordinator in the
    implementation of the HI code of conduct
  • Assist the admin coordinator in the
    practical organization of training sessions (planning, organization of
    travel)
  • Assist the admin coordinator organizing
    staff meetings or events
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Handicap
    International Human Resources Officer job opportunity should hold a University
    degree in social sciences or other relevant disciplines (human resources,
    business administration, employee relations …)
  • Additional professional training is an
    advantage.
  • At least two years of relevant
    professional experience in Human Resources Management
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
    in hardware and software, Microsoft Office, Internet
  • Ability to work in an inter cultural
    environment
  • Patient, Calm, Rigorous, Organized.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
