About US:
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a
non-governmental organization that implements Development Communication
programs aimed at influencing positive behavior change for the social
development of men, women and children in Uganda and the entire East African
Region.
About USAID RHITES-EC Project:
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a consortium
partner in implementing the USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Health
Services in Eastern  Uganda Project
(USAID/Uganda RHITES E) whose aim is to support the implementation of a
comprehensive integrated investment in regional health, nutritional assistance
and HIV/AIDS programs. The five-year project targets 21 districts in Eastern
Uganda and Karamoja through a district-based integrated package of quality
health, nutrition, HIV / AIDS and child development services.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the USAID
    Monitoring & Evaluation & Learning Officer job placement must hold
    a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Social Sciences: Sociology,
    Demography, Quantitative Economics, Development Studies or any related
    social science discipline
  • A minimum of five years’ experience of
    data management experience. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    relationship skills.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of M
    & E as a management tool;
  • Previous experience working on M&E for
    USAID programs desired, experience working on M&E for national-level
    behavior change communication programs required;
  • Sound working knowledge and technical
    competences in research, monitoring and evaluation principles,
    methodologies, practices and proficiency with data analyses using
    recommended computer packages; 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and demonstrated proficiency in using at least
    one data management software package, one quantitative software package,
    and one qualitative analysis software package.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken
    English and willingness to work for long hours.
