About US:
Exim Bank (Uganda) (EBU), commonly known as Exim Bank, is a commercial bank in Uganda. It is one of the commercial banks licensed by the Bank of Uganda (BOU), the central bank and national banking regulator.

Job Summary: The Head of Retail will be responsible for developing and delivering Exim Bank’s strategy for growing the retail business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·         The jobholder will ensure the development of the retail strategy in line with the Bank's overall strategy and direction,
·         The jobholder will work in liaison with Business Units to formulate joint marketing strategies and gain from synergies available through the Bank's customer base,
·         Manage the sales forecasting process and setting targets for sales periods,
·         Establish effective processes to deliver Retail Banking ,
·         Manage the operations and provide support to branches in line with growth of the Retail business,
·         Manage the bank's advertising strategy and public relations relating to Retail Banking, in close coordination with the MD
·         Manage branding activities for departmental products to enhance product image and visibility
·         Recruit Direct Sales Representatives and monitor their performance.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·         The ideal candidate for the Exim Bank Head of Retail vacancy must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business related field such as Commerce, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
·         A minimum of ten years’ experience preferably in Retail Banking, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, Banking Operations
·         Five years of Managerial level experience
