Job Summary: The Senior
Advisor – Tax & Legal will work in liaison with the Tax Manager as a tax
senior, legal advisor on tax assignments. The incumbent will serve as a tax /
legal advisor to clients in a cross wide range of industries offer corporate
secretarial services as well as business and regulatory advisory services to
clients. The jobholder will research, write, and review client tax advice relating
to domestic and international tax matters. Assist in formulating and delivering
tax planning and tax services as well as helping clients in resolving their tax
disputes. The incumbent will supervise and aid in the development and training
of new and experienced staff professionals.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The Senior Advisor – Tax & Legal must hold a
University Degree in law – minimum upper second with post graduate Diploma in
legal practice.
·        
A minimum of two to three years’ experience in
legal practice in area of corporate services and I or tax litigation.
·        
Possession of 
diploma in taxation is an added advantage
·        
Excellent communication skills.
·        
Excellent planning, research, and communication
skills;
·        
Broad knowledge of corporate tax laws and tax
practice in Uganda.
