About US:
The
Legal Aid Service Providers Network (LASPNET) is a Non-Governmental
Organisation established in Uganda to harness, strengthen, and sustain
synergies across the country among Legal Aid Service Providers (LASPs) in
complementing Government of Uganda’s efforts for enhancing access to justice.
The Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) has given support to LASPNET towards
implementation of project activities across the Justice, Law, and Order Sector
with focus on improving coordination structures, monitoring and evaluation
frameworks, policy reform approaches, capacity building initiatives, and
various strategic mechanisms for taking a more proactive role in setting legal
aid agenda.
Job Summary: Legal Aid Service Providers Network (LASPNET) invites
Student Interns / Fresh graduates who wish to gain practical experience.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
The
Interns should either be pursuing or recently completed a law-related or non-law
related course in our various fields as may be suitable.

Why would you like to be granted internship at LASPNET?
NB: The Interns are not entitled to salary or other
benefits, but may receive applicable work-enabling allowances as stipulated in
the manual. The tenure of an Intern shall not exceed six calendar months.
However, should circumstances necessitate, the tenure of an Intern can be
renewed for a period not exceeding two additional calendar months by the ED. The
relevant line manager shall assess the viability of an internship extension by
conducting a performance appraisal prior to any extension.
