Job Summary: The Sponsorship Correspondence Assistant will effectively
manage World Vision Sponsor mails in accordance to established standards and
procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Manage sponsor mails before dispatch to
    ADPs within the approved procedures.
  • Sort, record World Vision staff mails
    enclosed in sponsor mails and submit to Office Assistants for
    distribution.
  • Enter Sponsor mails records in STEP and
    generate Batch sheets attached on processed mails.
  • Ensure accountability for childrens’ gift
    items by the Regions.
  • Record and submit Money Orders and cheques
    enclosed to SCC.
  • Keep documentation on damaged sponsor
    mails/parcels for reference
  • Prepare and submit timely reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidates for the World Vision Child
    Sponsorship Correspondence Assistant job opportunity should hold a Bachelor
    Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education or any other
    relevant course.
  • Past experience working with confidential
    information is essential.
  • Highly computer literate
  • Working knowledge of World Vision sponsorship
    management standards and processes is an added advantage
  • The applicant must be highly reliable and
    undependable, able to work with minimal supervision.
