About US:
Mandela National Stadium often
referred to as Namboole Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kampala, Uganda.
It is currently used mostly for football matches, although other sports are
also practiced. The stadium has a capacity of 40,202 people. The stadium was
built with a grant of $36 million dollars from the People’s Republic of China.
The 40,202 capacity sports complex was built with a $36m Chinese government
grant and opened in 1997.
Job Summary: The
Procurement Officer will technically support the organization in all aspects of
procurement management including the preparation of RFQs, ITBs or RFP
documents, receipt of quotations, proposals or bids and conduct preliminary
evaluation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain
    Management, B.Com/BBA
  • Hold
    Full or partial qualification in CIPS is an added advantage
  • At
    least five years’ experience in procurement gained while working with a
    reputable firm or public or private commercial or donor funded
    organization, two of which must have been acquired at a similar level/
    position
