Job Summary: The Front Desk Officer will be responsible
for manning the front desk and coordinating the various activities to ensure
that clients and guests are given the required assistance in a timely manner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The incumbent will be receiving clients and other
    guests on the Company premises and ensuring that they are served as
    required and in a timely manner
  • Quickly responding to client inquiries and ensuring
    that they receive the desired information in a timely manner
  • Educating clients and guests on the products and
    services offered by the Company
  • Receiving calls and messages from clients and other
    stakeholders and transferring them to the relevant parties
  • Dispatching company documents to external
    stakeholders through various means in a timely manner and ensuring that
    the necessary acknowledgment is made
  • In charge of dispatching received documents to the
    various internal staff and other stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records on
    documents received and dispatched from the front desk
  • Ensure that the front office area is impeccably
    maintained at all times.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The Front Desk Officer should hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Business Administration, Procurement & Logistics,
    International Business or any other relevant field
  • At least two years working experience in a reputable
    fast paced large corporation
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit
    applications
  • Possession of a certificate in customer care is an
    added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clean and neat personal appearance
  • Amiable
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Proficient in English both spoken and written
  • Ability to speak Luganda and Swahili will be an added advantage
  • Quick learner and adept
