Job Summary: The Logistics Stock
Controller will be responsible for the line management of the stock team at the
UBL. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the National reporting and
rectifying of stock related systems issues including the management of all
interface transfers daily. This role will serve as the main point of contact
for error processing and interface management between EABL Uganda and 3PL
(DHL).
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • In charge of the management of all stock reconciliations – Daily
  • Serve as a reference point for all Production for management of
    stocks for 3rd party.
  • Taking lead of the stock team to effectively manage the 3PL to
    ensure compliance and control in the issuing of items from the relevant
    stores whilst maintaining the required housekeeping and inventory control
    standards
  • Responsible for the management of all interface transfers – Daily
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal applicant for the Logistics Stock Controller should hold a
    Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain or related business field
  • At least two to three years’ experience in logistics management
    ideally in an FMCG environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Computer / systems literate
  • Strong people skills
  • Possess the ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of
    stakeholders at all levels
  • Self confidence
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Numerate with good organizational skills
  • Ambitious and self-motivated
  • Possess the ability to understand KPI setting, measurement &
    follow up
